Chef Sato weaves delicate dishes with flowing, efficient movements. Despite his long career in Japanese Cuisine, Chef Sato's passionate disposition continues to evolve, attracting many fans from within Japan and abroad. He also has a deep knowledge of tableware, and the restaurant is lined with the owner's collection of replicas of famous potters and painters from the Edo period, as well as Kyo-yaki, Bizen-yaki, and Baccarat ware. The restaurant was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide Fukuoka/Saga 2014 Special Edition.

Taking advantage of its location surrounded by abundant nature, Sato mainly uses ingredients from Kyushu. The ingredients, selected with a discerning eye cultivated over many years of experience, are transformed into exquisite dishes with fragrant aromas by the skill of the chef. The dishes are visually stunning, but without any fancy presentation, and instead convey the deliciousness of the ingredients sincerely to the diners. There is no end to gourmets who travel all the way to Kokura to enjoy a moment filled with bliss.

A Japanese space lit by subdued lighting, enveloped in a comfortable atmosphere of tension. The U-shaped counter, with its striking and clearly-defined wood grain, is designed so that no matter where you sit you can see the chef at work. As well as the space, the beautiful tableware is also noteworthy. The colorful tableware is painted with seasonal patterns, allowing you to enjoy the appearance of both the food and the tableware itself. Tableware is displayed in various places in the restaurant, allowing you to feel the owner's "elegance" with your eyes.
