ChefHonda Seiichi - Commonalities drawn from a wealth of experience
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1976. After graduating from high school, he traveled to France, where he worked as sous chef at Le Fronton. During his training, he encountered Spanish Cuisine. Shocked by the true Basque cuisine he had been looking for, he continued to train in France and Spain. After returning to Japan, he experienced the subtleties of Japanese Cuisine at the famous restaurant Ryugin, and worked as sous chef at Sant Pau. In 2011, he opened ZURRIOLA. He pursues the commonalities between Japanese Cuisine and Spanish Cuisine, and serves innovative dishes.

Chef Honda has pursued the commonalities he found through his training in famous restaurants in France, Spain, and Japan, and has arrived at innovative cuisine. Each dish, carefully prepared with seasonal ingredients and simple cooking methods, has a taste of Japanese food. We invite you to experience the fresh Spanish cuisine that is unique to the gourmet space of "ZURRIOLA," where various culinary cultures are gently harmoniously combined.

ZURRIOLA is located on the 4th floor of the historic Kyojun Building. The interior of the restaurant is a chic, modern space decorated with art by Catalan abstract painting pioneer Lafols Casamada. At the counter seats in the open kitchen, you can enjoy the food with all five senses - the sounds and the smells. There are also private rooms in the basement that emphasize privacy, making it an attractive place to be used for a variety of occasions.
