ChefSuzuki Keitaro - Making the most of the delicate flavor of crab
Born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1973. After graduating from high school, he started his career as a chef. He trained at Japanese Cuisine restaurants and served as a head chef. In June 2015, he became head chef of Ginza Kitafuku, which opened as the second branch of Akasaka Kitafuku. Just a few months after opening, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star.

In this sophisticated Japanese-modern space, there is a chef in each room, so you can enjoy watching a whole crab being cooked right in front of you. To allow you to enjoy your crab dishes at your leisure, the restaurant consists of three private rooms, two with tatami seating and one with chair seating. Each room can accommodate two to six people, and if the two rooms with tatami seating are connected, it can accommodate up to 12 people. The space has a comfortable, dignified atmosphere and is perfect for important business meetings, anniversaries, and other special occasions.

From rare crabs such as Matsuba crab, a representative winter delicacy, and golden crab, a cross between Matsuba crab and red snow crab, to year-round crabs such as king crab and snow crab. We hope you will take your time to savor the diverse crab dishes, which are all carefully prepared while still respecting the flavor of the ingredients.

This is the second location of the live crab restaurant "Kitafuku," where you can enjoy not only various cooking methods such as boiling, grilling, sashimi, and shabu shabu, but also watching a whole
...crab being butchered right before your eyes. Just like the first location, this special space has only three private rooms, where you can enjoy freshly butchered crab dishes and gorgeous Kyoto cuisine made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients, along with wine. Another great thing about being at a specialty store is that you can also taste rare parts of the crab, such as the rare "golden crab," also known as the phantom crab, and the hidden delicacy "fundoshi."
