ChefHokuto Hasegawa - A talented chef with experience in Paris
Originally from Hyogo Prefecture. While visiting France to visit his brother, a pastry chef, he was so moved by the French cuisine that it was a delight to enjoy with all five senses that he decided to become a chef. After training at a French restaurant in Tokyo, he moved to France. He worked as a sous chef at famous Parisian restaurants "Tour Jardin" and "Relais Louis Treize", as well as the long-established bistro "La Fontaine de Mars", and as a chef at "Chef Les Anges". He spent a total of six years in Paris, and has been active in various places since returning to Japan. In October 2015, he went independent and opened "Gourmandise".
Food Steak allows you to simply enjoy the flavor of fresh, carefully selected Wagyu beef.
Gourmandise's style is to enjoy fresh wagyu beef, carefully selected from the chef's hometown of Kobe. Steak are presented in perfect condition to match the flow of the guests' meal. The surface is crispy and fragrant, and the red meat is beautifully cooked to be juicy, bringing out the maximum flavor of the meat, allowing you to enjoy the flavor directly. Orders can be made from 100g a la carte, so we recommend trying a little bit of each of the different cuts to compare them.
SpaceA private, hidden Bistro in Nishi-Azabu
Located just a few minutes from the Nishi-Azabu intersection, this unassuming French cuisine Bistro feels like a hideaway. The impressive interior, with its red walls, heavy mirrors, and large windows, was designed by the chef himself, creating a calm space that exudes the warmth of handmade items. With only about 12 seats at tables and a counter, you can enjoy your meal until 3am. Why not savour the leisurely, high-quality time with a wide selection of wines, which can be ordered by the glass?
